This is an important conversation to have culturally, but I'd still genre this under fantasy not even scifi yet. There is nothing reminiscent of intelligence in LLMs so far and I suspect after this few year long boom it will be stuck for several more offering nothing new really. A superintelligence is first of all poorly defined, assuming for whatever we are even close to building to have motivations and goals beyond what is prompted is based on nothing really. My guess is we are at least decades away from AGI and speed alone doesn't make it super in any meaningful sense.
