No, it’s not like that. Maybe the random images you’ve seen seem boring to you—but that’s only because you haven’t explored everything AI is capable of. Instead of seeing it as the enemy, maybe it’s time we start viewing it as an ally—one that can boost the creativity of both artists and people in other fields. I use AI often, and it’s actually inspired me to start drawing and creating my own original work.
You say AI only copies “human creativity”—but don’t we do the same? We all draw inspiration from something or someone; we copy, we tweak, we make it our own. Don’t you? And if not, then prove it—create a brand-new color that doesn’t already exist. Truth is, maybe we’re doing what AI does, just at a slower pace.
As for your example—“watching a YouTuber”—just like you dismiss AI, there are plenty of people who think watching someone play video games is boring and a waste of time, no matter how many “achievements” they unlock. Every mind is its own world.
