The ideological level of this debate is so worthless. We had the same when photography appeared. And then we had it again when digital art did.
An AI generating pictures cannot stop you from practicing art. It cannot lower the inherent artistic value of what you created. It cannot stop you from improving. It is not stealing anything, it is analyzing and repurposing it.
Just like back then it is still about the same thing: Jobs. Being afraid you cannot practice art anymore because of AI doesn't even make sense. What you are afraid of is that you can't do it as a job anymore. It's just about money.
