Personally, as a game dev, I enjoy using ai as a tool to plan and refine things. Yes, I use it for some writing, coding, and even art, but what it gives me are never the final product because I need my own creativity to shine in my creations. It helps me structure my narratives when writing, skim through docs to help me find a function I need for code, and generates some concept art to let me see a prototype of my vision. However, I still write my lore, I still write my own code, and I hire someone to draw the art. To me, using ai is like using a calculator for math. Calculators are great for small simple tasks, but they can never replace actually learning the subject matter in a truly meaningful way.
