AI won't replace these workers anytime soon. I use it literally every work day. It can help skilled workers work slightly faster, but it's not eliminating jobs. Corporations are eliminating jobs because they don't want to train junior workers, i.e. fresh college graduations. Saagar was just about to hit on the most important point at the end when he started talking about this, but then failed to connect the dots. If you don't hire new people to learn the job, there is no pipeline for people to become mid to senior level workers. Working in a highly technical job, people are discussing this all the time. It sucks for the younger generation because no one is willing to hire them, and let them learn. But the reality will hit these corporations eventually when all the boomers retire, and Gen X and Millennials will have made enough money, and won't be willing to do the job of 5 people because there aren't enough skilled workers. So, corporations will be left with a massive shortage of skilled workers, which will then start the cycle again of the job market being great for white collar workers.
