The only concern I really have is when using AI and first of all I have to say I am a musician. I’m a singer songwriter. I have struggled for years to find musicians to collaborate with that aren’t all about themselves full of ego and so overly opinionated that he creates walls were the band can’t grow or you can’t write music together so it causes someone like myself that is limited on playing guitar as far as being versatile that is, I’m limited to certain notes that I write with and I’ve paid these so-called labels and Nashville to get recordings and supposedly streams and song, plugging promotions, and all of that and truthfully all I got was a decent demo now granite these musicians in Nashville are great and even the labels was nice people, but they aren’t as huge as they put themselves out to be in a lot of that is based on us as artist, not knowing what we’re paying for and who were actually going to and what level in the industry these labels are so therefore it causes a lot of unnecessary money paid out with high hopes that go nowhere. I did that for four years straight and never got any further than just good demos and realistically they wasn’t even that good. With that being said when Suno came out, a friend of mine told me about it I looked it up and I seen what it was capable of helping me with I plugged my own songs in Suno with my own lyrics and my own rhythms of me playing guitar on a recorded track singing my song and I type in the style section what I want in the song and how I wanted it to sound because as a writer, I hear a sound in a melody in my head and I’ve got these songs pretty much where I want them before I take them to an actual studio. I have created my demos within Suno. I can go in and remove the vocals and put my own vocals over it, which is awesome. It has helped to create something without going through a bunch of money and traveling and not actually getting what you’re going after. I have not put these songs out on any streaming platform to make any profit off of them. Nobody has heard these songs but my kids in my manager I’m not looking to profit from AI at this point in time I intend to continue to be a creative artist, but I see Suno as a assistant to help me create the sounds without all of the extra time and money so when I go to an actual studio, I already have a foundation. My reason for writing this is with all of these lawsuits going on and the music industry, getting really upset and complaining and whining because somebody found a way to actually lessen our pain as artist that are up-and-coming. I looked at it as in my profession, I’m actually a general contractor and when we started getting invaded with other people from different countries coming into our country doing construction at less than half of what we was charging as contractors, we all started getting upset and complaining and whining but now here we are we use all of those people and everything‘s working ok. The problem is, we have sold it to use those companies or those other people from other countries as cheap labor and still charging the high dollar amount amounts it all boils down to money. I don’t believe in doing things crooked. We all are out here to profit and make a living. there’s way too many that wants to be top dog and have all of the money when it can actually be a fair playing field for everybody and we all were capitalize and it wouldn’t be so much hate and controversy in all of this. I hope everyone reads through this because AI is changing this country and actually the world. It can be a great thing or can be a misused thing in quite frankly I see that most people like to miss you everything because it gets noticed somehow we all strive for attention I believe but let’s get it the right way.
