That's what I hate about AI, the way humans use it. Just to say, ai is neither good or bad, and using it to generate images doesn't make you a heartless monster who ruins artists. It's what you do with those images that will have an impact. Technology is always neutral, it has a purpose, an objective to accomplish, nothing more, with no moral forewarning. It will always be the fault of humans if shit gets done with it. Nuclear power is an immense source of energy, capable of helping millions or even billions of people, and some people have decided to turn it into the most devastating weapon in the history of mankind. What I really mean is, don't blame ai, blame the guys who are misusing it and stealing data, because ai is a technology, an algorithm, and trying to stop it, to make sure that ai isn't used anymore, History has already shown that it's impossible to stop progress, but it is possible to control it and try to steer it in the right direction. By the way, ai doesn't steal images, it doesn't go on the web to feed on artists' works, it's humans who make selections and algorithms to retrieve a large database, but ai just takes what we give it, so complain about the guys who manage and develop these ai, well maybe I've misunderstood the thing, but stop saying that ai is the one who steals images, because it's just not true.
