Some might argue that we already do not understand/see what is going on around us. We do not need AI development to remind us that. And knowledge is not about this artificial world. AI will never ever have consciousness. And human consciousness will always be superior to AI intelligence.
And at the end there is no safety that you can ensure in this reality. All the insurance companies are fraudsters. Just enjoy the show...
