There’s a very easy solution to all of this: democracy. The right to work and the rights of work are fundamental democratic values. As are health and dignity. AI is not AI by itself: it comes with a lot of dangers, with a lot of catastrophic risks. People should decide what they want with AI, not the few mega-rich little daddy’s sons who go on TV saying that most jobs are gonna be replaced and that people must rely on UBI and must invest in their assets. We give the world to them, we simply let our children lose everything. I say a big no and most parents won’t allow this shit to happen to their sons. Wake up! Democracy is opposite to dictatorship. This is just dictatorship, disguised by inevitable progress. Progress is making life better for everyone. AI as they give it to date is just the biggest social threat, ever.
