The sustainability argument in this video is not presented in a good scientific way ( I assume the presenter is a scientist). There is no single measurement that would give a viewer even a remote idea of what is the actual impact. Is it 1% of the current carbon emission by entire world ? Or 0.00001% ? And how much of the emission is offset by the fact that processes are optimised by the use of AI leading to drop of carbon emissions by these processes?
Without full and well weighted reasons the sustainability argument sounds populist and something that some media would use to generate views .
