The real benefit of automation is it cuts costs, not prices. All the advancements made in the past century and prices went up.
One computer and a secretary can do more than 10 secretaries back in the day, prices went up.
One farmer and a tractor can do more than 100 farm hands, prices went up.
We can transport more and faster, prices went up.
A home was built with hand tools, now powered nail guns and battery powered saws, prices went up.
Just imagine when AI really takes hold, we’ll really see prices go up.
