Personally I think the breaking of copyrights is a step into the direction to allow the public access to what the elites hide from them. In other words, the elite should worry that control is slipping through their fingers. Collaborative thinking is what increases the rate of development due to the reduction of reinventing wheels. Free information reduces costs overall, though it prevents multi-billion-dollar empires from appearing by allowing innovative individuals to apply the information locally without red tape, thus levelling the playing field for both rich and poor across the board since AI does not request payments for it's use. Imagine people use the AI to design energy efficient systems, energy producing systems, cost effective processing, etc, the costs throughout the world would drop. Is a cheap world based on quality processes really that bad? My motto: I would rather be a poor person in a rich country than a rich person in a poor country.
