I see absolutely no problem in using the work of an artist to generate more piece of content from them. Artists are too slow. Sorry not sorry. It's not about the rights of the artistsbut about their feelings. Because it's discourqging to see a computer generate a million of artwork by the time you finished yours. Fine, but you still have the merit of having created the style itself. The reason why someone makes those models is because they like the artist and want to dee more stuff of that style. Now you will tell me it requires no skills. Well i'm not too sure about that. It does require skills with computers, it requires patience, it requires being able to put into words an idea they want to see materialised into an image. Some ai bros are even creating stories all by themselves. What allows them to finally be able to do it is the ai, because they always sucked at drawing. Artists are just mad that people don't have to learn to draw anymore. But they forget that they still are the original creators of a given style, their own style. Which the ai user cannot have. They can only have what the ai gives them. There are upsides and downsides to it. But all these things about copyright laws are obsolete in this era. They mean almost nothing as they can never ever be realistically enforced and a world where they are enforced sounds like a distopia to me.
