I recently pointed out how silly it was that someone was putting (c) on their ai generated art. They had listed reasons for it and got defensive and kept adjusting their reasons such as claiming the entirety of their project etc, but that wasn’t their main point. They didn’t want people ‘stealing’ their art. They even put under their name, do not steal. It was really getting immature that deleted the thread, but it just baffled me the kind of mental gymnastics people do to justify their hypocritical behavior. I have seen some people get straight up hostile. I am not against ai, but wish that the laws be established so that actual artists are protected and or compensated. People who are like ai bros are vultures imo.
