Accountability is the biggest factor in the medical field. Who is responsible for the report generated by AI? If a wrong diagnosis is made by ChatGPT, will Sam Altman pay the compensation?
The buck of clinical diagnosis will always stop with the human doctor. AI may be 100% accurate but it cannot be held accountable. One thing is for sure, incorporating AI is something every doctor will have to do.
