Hah. I like using passive voice, because the books *_were shrewn_* across the floor, and sometimes that detail is picked out during a mystery when no one is there to observe who was so transfixed by the tip-of-the-tongue discovery that the thoughts they coalesced whipped up a storm in their study? Hehehe… I like to say our words are art, too, when we choose how and what we express.
