Art is a trained skill. It takes years, decades even to get good. I’m not entirely anti-AI as I think of it as a tool that is useful for brainstorming and making reference for when you hire artists. But anyone who thinks that they’ll never be good at art is a fool. There are thousands of tutorials online now. Back when I was going to school for game art and design, there was nothing like what we have now. There are so many tools out there that can help people learn. They’re not taking advantage of them. They’re not trying when they have more options that I did. And that is depressing.
