Yes. ALL the investment in AI has the end goal of replacing then laying off skilled and well paid workers. Literally nobody is investing in AI for the good of humanity, please.
And the corporate media is clamoring for more babies, telling us we need to boost the labor force while at the same time Congress is repeatedly out to slash social safety net programs like Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security. I would say it doesn't add up, but it does.
