the reason AI is not giving any actual benefit, because it's not being used in the right spaces at all. it shouldn't be used for art and creativity and on phones where it does things that would take a real person, maybe a minute to do themselves with the tools and tech we already have, like google search and other things.
it should be tailored to labor jobs, agriculture, building, factories, other places where it'd probably be more useful having something be able to learn and do tasks. as an artist myself i hate to admit it, but art is secondary to what the world actually needs.
