Sp 70 million people are potentially scanned and faces stored (they are never going to delete data as valuable as faces) to find 500 suspects via AI that the police could not be bothered to find themselves manually with convectional detective tools? So I risk being stopped and harassed in the streets for a mistaken identity or even jailed and yet I am supposed to prove that I am not someone else even though I have not made a crime yet the police will ask for my finger prints etc - NFW !! This has the book 1984 all over it!! This system does not benefit the average person as no one can tell you how it benefits when they have no idea about it being used however, it does benefit the fining and imprisoning of people collection agencies and police force oh. and blame the AI when it all goes to sh1te - Last words - add every cops face to the system no matter their rank first and lets see how many the system flags as criminals or lookalikes?
