36 years in IT. I started as a technician, now I’m an AI Systems Architect. In this industry, you survive by adapting never stop learning. If you don’t adapt, you get left behind. Protect your job by choosing work that isn’t just repetition or memory retention that’s where education failed us. Pattern recognition and problem solving are where computers break down. They can calculate, but they can’t invent. Humans will never be redundant, as long as they keep inventing. Without that, entropy wins.
