Yes, it is worth learning to code. Yes, even though AI will be possible to develop faster and better in some cases.
AI has known problem with deduction, specification of problem solution, while it can easily generalize, induce. That is why AI is to performant in order to generate code but not to actually edit another code. Furthermore if one tries to lead AI to actually develop something AI will easily misinterpret every description to just deliver hardly functional code. And there is where human shines - in the imperfection.
Another argument for me is more or less philosophical. I human created AI using SWE/coding, then it makes even more valuable to learn coding in order to see the impact and worth. And in further, if people will now use AI to generate and edit code, the more one as programmer will be valuable if one will be able to do that on it's own with even slight help of AI (as Google not as "do everything for me, because I am fully unable to").
