This is for several reasons, one of which is there is no intent behind ai media and it is not art. The other though is because AI (or rather the people developing it) only care about making images in religious and romantic realist styles because that is easier for the models to produce and is usually the first thing that comes to mind for people when they just think "art" in the abstract. This is because most people who make ai "art" don't know or care about art outside of the idea of making artists obsolete.
