These are all valuable perspectives. I hope Demis is right, though Kate’s concerns are valid. He has a better understanding of the concept of AGI than she does, yet it’s wise of her to draw attention to how AI is being used to negatively affect certain lives. I fear that the only way we will get regulation is after something goes wrong.
