Do you know what is so deeply concerning... Nobody has come up with a viable alternative to our current economic system.
I watched a video of a Harvard Professor who has literally studied the future of AI and it’s effects for the past 10 years and he basically just said 'we need an alternative system'.
He doesn't know how things will work or how things COULD possibly work when AI starts taking many of our jobs. He said ‘We need a UBI’, which is such a vague statement. He doesn’t go in to any details about how that system will work in its entirety.
Natural resource allocation, property distribution and entitlement, taxes, monetary system, business ownership and financing, just to name a few. There is so much complexity that needs to be thought about, and nobody, not even our greatest minds, has a tangible plan. Nobody.
