Some like to draw and they do it as a hobby. Not everyone makes art as their hobby, some passionate ones do it to make a livelihood too. AI doesn’t mean anything to the first group I mentioned. The first group won’t spend years after years to get better at their drawing cause there’s no motivation. This is life not some 2 hours movie. There’s no money, there’s no need to put years after years when AI can generate it within seconds. So yeah people who like drawing will keep drawing but there will be no motivation just for pleasure. The overall progression of art stops now. Cause nobody will aspire to be a pro after seeing AI these days, there will be no competition, there will be no money which is a very big factor, some people can only make art cause it’s bringing them money, they can spend their time learning and drawing things, they don’t need to do any other job outside. See now that will be missing. So yeah if someone’s very rich , got everything they wanted and still want to learn and get pro like skillsets, good for them, they can keep creating art only for the sake of art. As they’ve got money and time, it won’t matter to them. But average people or even naturally talented ones won’t even dare to do it. It’s already crated a bad impact on human artists, everyday they see Gen Imges and lose their souls bit by bit thinking about the possibilities it can bring, they already doubt themselves why they spent years after years only to hit a roadblock suddenly. Yeah AI won’t stop artists but it doesn’t make any difference. The damage will be done, creative fields will eventually drain out of human minds.
