i don't know if this is true and I hope it's not, but I heard the police also use handheld thermal imaging that can see right through walls. That means they can pretty much watch you walk around the house by the heat trail your body leaves. Warmer temperatures are redder and cooler temperatures are bluer. The founding fathers were very concerned about the sanctity of the home, a man's castle I think they called it. Any invasion of privacy in the home on private property is of great concern to me. If you get naked to take a bath do you want the cops watching you? I was born in 1950 so the whole idea of facial recognition was Sci-Fi at that time and I think some of the great SF writers touched on it and showed the possible implications for errors and misuse. Now it's reality. Strange.
