The process is EVERYTHING. For an artist, the finished product is not the most satisfying part. The journey getting there is what it's all about. When I was a kid, I used to give away my drawings all the time, because once they're done, there's nothing else for me to do. No need to keep it. I've seen it. On to the next thing. Because what makes you an artist is the desire to create art. Not an accumulation of finished pieces. And AI just takes the finished pieces of others, rolls them up in a ball and spits out a bastardized version of what it thinks your prompt says. And typing prompts is not an artform or a skill. It's brute force trial and error.
