We're still at the Peak of Inflated Expectations. I'd even say that term is way too charitable and nice; I'd use something like "delusional". I say this where it's reported that companies like Microsoft demand their workers use AI in their work all the time under the pain of termination. It's obviously to train theirs. Even if people are annoyed by the intrusiveness, the forced ubiquity, the overwhelming amounts of slop, companies are still pouring money into it.
