Once upon a time people worried about automobiles eliminating jobs. Think of all the horse stables, and blacksmiths that would be out of work. 😱
But they were replaced by road builders, car builders, and gas stations.
I remember when computers replaced hand drawing for draftsman. But now we need people to buy and update the computers, not a job when you used pencil and paper.
Even with computers, I’ve had structural engineers design connections that can’t be assembled. In which case you need someone to point this out to them, or guys with torches in the field, reworking the connection.
There is plenty of work that can easily be pulled back into the United States that companies outsource.
A.I. just means we need people to support the A.I. and correct/repair robots etc…
