I'm a mechanical maintenance fitter, so probably the least likely profession to be taken by ai, and I can't fathom how anybody other than shareholders in a few companies would be cheering on ai replacing anybody in any field.
Artists are sitting in the leaking end of the boat and are the first to go underwater, but EVERYONE is on the same sinking boat, including the smoothbrain CEOs who are pushing for this.
I hate ai with a fiery passion, and I don't believe any benefit to humanity at all will come from it with the way it's being pursued right now.
