I've only just been experimenting with Midjourney and was surprised I could churn out images in the style of living artists. With a nod to existing copyright laws it would be better if no living artists could be used in prompts. There's already a big list of banned words, it wouldn't be hard to make AI check an "in the style of" doesn't reference a living artist. That doesn't cripple AI, just forces the creators to build better automated creativity, that doesn't piggyback.
