Lots of worries and little solutions. "AI will take your job" "You should work less with same pay" So you work less and less until you basically just don't show up and receive a salary? So why fight the AI if you should be promoting it so that AI takes the job completely and you receive unemployment benefit? What's with the obsession of doing an outdated task? Why is it so hard to just admit, that some professions are not necessary anymore? As for the billionaires - they grow big, the are taxed big, the taxes go to the unemployed to support the basic needs. That's how it should work instead of clinging to driving or waiting tables. Because where else do all those billionaires make money from if everyone in the world is unemployed? The only way is to keep lowering prices and increasing salaries of those who are still necessary. AI is the closest thing we have to achieve a true people-oriented state where people live off of inanimate objects rather than other people. Now you may say, that they will just leave 10s of milllions people to starve to death rather than do decent benefits - this will never work in modern first world societies, as it will spark a global economic collapse which the rich don't want. Money only matter insofar the economy is functioning, i.e. it's just idioitic to try to accumulate all the money in the world. What will happen with the development of AI and tech is that these big companies will naturally brake apart. Instead of 1 amazon you'll have 50 amazons in every US state, as it would require less resources and less people to run such a company. Gradually you will reach the point where it's not unemployment benefits anymore but rather dividends as everyone truly is a shareholder of everything they consume. But this is achieved through the development of tech and free trade as well as tax systems, not just being all panicky about AI. P.S. Seriously, Musk got a 1 trillion dollar paycheck? Wonder if he knows about that. I mean, there is so much wrong with this statement that I am not sure where to begin to comment on that xD
