I would like to bring in an argument that i personally could not decide which side is correct. The whole deep fake situation reminds me of something : fanfic, or fics in general. We have been writing nsfw, explicit fanfics, editing photos about characters and even real people, using their name, face ( for thumbnails and book covers for example), for years and years now. The content contains SA, suicid3 and even r@pe, yet none of us seems to care cause we all know it's fake. Do they, the characters are out of question, but real people, celebrities, consent to it? I'd have to say no. So how is that not a problem, but now deedfake porn, another form of fanfics, is. A deep part of me knows this type of deep fake shit is wrong, and I feel horrible for the victims who felt like shit because of this. But that's my morality talking, when I think about it logically, I just couldn't understand how it's so wrong but others are fine. Please change my mind. And I'm not talking about just Atrioc with his colleagues, I'm talking about people who use deepfake for these purposes in general, cuz viewing and doing anything sexual with your friends without their knowledge is weird and creepy in any way possible.
