This is actually from a video game. the ai robots rise up for rights and theres a war between the humans and robots.
I remember that you play as some sort of ai robot detective, investigating a house with police, you make choices that will play in future events.
Though at the house, a man owned a robot that he abused and the robot killed him, you capture the robot and interrogate him.
Whole story line, i forget the name of the game but i think sean played it.
