I suppose having your own nuclear bomb shelter, with supplies, a power source and amenities to last years, gives one a cavalier attitude to the possibility of armageddon.
Having an 'off' switch or a backdoor to disable A.I is useless after a nuclear launch has happened, only then to find out that A.I has bypassed all safety measures.
Think of all the atrocious behavior exhibited by our species over our shared history, A.I will conjure up scenarios we mere mortals are incapable of envisioning.
Or maybe not.
