It's high time that the Common people (both male and female, especially females) who value their privacy stop posting and uploading their photos and pictures on SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS. Understand that the celebrities are NOT the most affected here, it is the common people. Celebs just need to put out a public statement saying this was Fake, and everyone would believe it. Even if some don't believe, hey, it is free publicity. But what about the common people? Where are they gonna go and plead their case and who is gonna care? Families would get destroyed, marriages ended if facial images of random people, are sourced from these sites and then morphed into some random porn actresses or actors in compromising videos and spread across the web. Men and women both are gonna be affected. Even with "STRICT" criminal laws in place, people who create and disperse such clips would not be caught because they would be untraceable. We don't have that many great ethical hackers (or government people) to hunt down deep web users who are creating and misusing The Deepfake (which was a software that was uploaded by a Reddit user in one such forums with instruction on how to use it). That person's identity remains anonymous (that is the intention of these evil bstrds). Pre-2000, no one did these image or video postings anywhere...why? because there weren't any big or famous Social media sites. This obsession of sharing our pictures on the web, this addiction over getting attention and seeking validity grew with "Social" Media. Even when most of us knew and was knowledgable about the dangers of this, many people (especially women) didn't mind their privacy being exploited or misused (a study revealed that women now were more willing to go into porn industry and didn't mind if their identity got revealed...thanks to people like Sunny Leone etc...women empowerment much!). And there still be many more women who will brush this danger off, sating it doesn't "concern" them because they are common people, who is gonna benefit from exploiting their identity (how ignorant they are). To them my greatest sympathies. They will reap what they will sow. Remember this but, even if you die and are no more, the images and videos you posted will remain, even if you "delete" them before your demise, or your family member erases it for you after your death lol..it doesn't fkn matter. It will resurface one day, in the most unimaginable grotesque way, in front of your children or grand children and there won't be a damn thing anyone can do about it. It is funny that many people think FB, Instagram, Google or even Whatsapp respects their privacy, security and safety. Your messages, images, videos, conversations, audio(voice clips), transactions, calendars, contacts, location etc. everything is saved as a permanent undying undeletable copy in their servers (and yes with exponential increase in digital storage capacities..beyond your beliefs, storing every single person's data or information is childsplay). Add to that AI and you have a devilish combination. Even Elon Musk admits to the security risk AI poses. So Amitabh ji can bark all he wants, but when high profile celebs take huge remunerations for Advertisements no matter what the company sells, who is to say that these very people may switch sides and advocate for them wolves?? (First ban the celebs from appearing in any Ads, then let them preach). Anyway I don't see so-called Celebrities stand up for the common man. It is cute to see these Celebs stand up for one of their own even if it is just for show (I don't see any "brave" or veteran celebrities raising any questions or create a storm over the death of Sushant or Sridevi, when most of us knew there are many sinister groups and shady people involved behind their deaths).
