My class in college had a discussion on this about when to use and not to use AI art. I come from a game dev background, which this class was on. We all agreed that AI art has it's uses as a tool to create the larger piece. We agreed that it is good if you are a solo developer, don't have the money or the skills to create concept art, have AI help wip up some sketches for ideation. Don't use it to create the posters but maybe it gives you several ideas on what the poster could look like. Concept art can cost quite a bit and go on a while so the ideation process is good for it. Other than that it shouldn't be really used for start to finish.
