I know that this is a month late but I honestly want to thank you for bringing positive news about the topic of AI art. As a multimedia art student, I genuinely enjoy learning how to make art using different programs and while I'm not quite sure what career I want get into after graduation I am positive that I want to be in this field. My problem is that I never hear positive stories surrounding this topic, it got to a point where even my dad, someone who was very supportive of my choice to go to art school, has started recommending me applying for a different strand of art (fashion design, product design, hell- even business) out of fear that the jobs in my chosen field will be taken over by AI. And while I think that it's nice to know that he cares about my future, it hurts a lot to know that even my own father doesn't have a lot of faith that I would be successful in my chose field because of AI. Your positivity gives me hope that I'd at least make it somewhere in this field. Something tells me that this whole AI thing might just be a fad phase right now that people are hyping up too much. In the words of my Web Design professor: "Use AI only like you would use a calculator", I think that sums about what I think about AI.
