Seems like a lot of the people harassing artists are just people who have nothing better to do and are jealous that they have nothing special to offer to the world. As both an artist AND an ICT major, it really seems to me that using AI technology in such a sloppy and careless way is how the human civilization will destroy itself. The people doing things like this have no concern for ethics and clearly don't think about long-term consequences. I'll even go as far as to say that further developing AI right now is stupid, as we have NOT come up with a standard, concrete framework that follows ethical guidelines. A key principle that you learn when starting to learn to code is that you should always plan things out and develop a logical model before you implement something into code. It seems that a huge chunk of the planning phase of programming is skipped when designing these AI, and it's not only disgusting what this technology is being used for, but also the sheer ignorance of the executives making such hasty decisions.
