I'm majoring in AI, and AI should stay away from any and all creative tasks. Creativity is a big part of what makes us human. It's become clear that AI cannot be integrated in creative tasks in such a way that it remains a simple tool to realize a creative vision. Therefore it should not be used or even be present in creative tasks. The technology is fantastic for finding patterns that are difficult to spot for humans, such as tumor detection in medical imaging and autonomous vision. Unfortunately, the whole field is hype and profit driven which has caused the unregulated training of models and mass theft of creative works. Those who knowingly capitalize on a technology like that, betray the foundation of what it means to be creative. AI prompters are no artists. "Their" "work" lacks the human vision, emotion, time or skill that is a requirement for something to be called art, while also harming those who spend time and put effort into creating.
