AI makes mistakes in the harder parts of the code. Often enough, the juniors will pass on something they had AI assistance to write, and if it's any size at all, good GRIEF can it be hard to figure out what's gone wrong, especially in languages that are less strongly typed or that have to resort to generic types for data modeling.
I see the term "hallucinate" a lot with respect to AI and...honestly, it's accurate.
