I still maintain that the real problem with AI is not what IT can do but what the people in charge of it will do with it. OpenAI just accepted the Pentagon contract that Anthropic walked away from. The difference was the PEOPLE who refused to do harmful things for money. AI is being developed (being taught) by good people and bad people. What it will do next depends on what those people want.
