AI is somethin to be concerned with for sure but we dont have anything like it yet , what all these "AI's" are is chat bots linked with a search engine ..... its just a google search with added words , they arent "thinking" they are simply flipping a coin on responces they have logged in the past.
This claude bot is probably a good example of how hype is blinding everyone , the very article that pushed this company into the spotlight , with a reddit for AI story was mostly humans faking interactions and scam marketing..... claude bot itself scrapped reddit for its training model so i can only imagine how terrible it is as a bot.
The only reason why this is all media outlets can talk about is because 1) its keeping the entire US economy out of recession and 2) Business's are buying into the hype so bad that they are cutting jobs on false promises given by AI sellers. When this all pops there are going to be some major loses and pain for people
