YouTube videos about AI attract a very specific subset of people. First, you have to be into computers, then, you have to be into youtube, next you have to be into tech and finally you have to be interested in AI. So many people in the AI scene have just... lost it. Stared into the sun until they went blind. Drawn into their own vortex, loosing touch with reality really. There are so many people in the world who don't give a shit about AI and tech. People want to have a house, do groceries, have friends, go on holidays, have a family, play game, do sports... We are in the claws of a bunch of crazy cerebral tech cultists that choose to project their fever dream onto the rest of the world, and somehow they seem to convince a lot of people.
