So, basically there still isn't a clear cut answer? If I use drum software, .vst or any other tool in my creation process, would have to be disclosed as well?
AI prompting isn't enough to copyright a song but in the example of SUNO you can upload your reference piece the AI will work off that and your lyrics plus if you don't like the outcome you can replace or remove sections , does this mean I have now created 75% of the song or does this mean that its just enough to risk copyright rejection? To me this is more the huge record companies realizing as artists we can hold more of the earnings without depending on them for sponsorship , recording studio cost, and labels getting their unfair share for 20 years. @topmusicattorney I appreciate your time on this issue great content, I bring up your channel every time I speak to other musicians keep it up.
