AI always struggles with details that would be intuitive to someone who actually had to be alive in 3-dimensional space, like the coat button thing you mentioned. This immediately sticks out as glaringly wrong to anyone who has ever buttoned a coat, but to an AI a coat is just an abstract concept that exists outside its direct understanding, just like all other physical criteria, so it can't really tell where there's room for interpretation vs literalism.
