I'm a small business owner (not very successful). But I recognize that a Universal basic income would be more freeing to Americans than our current system. Too many, including myself feel trapped by our jobs with no safety net.
The amount of jobs wiped out by AI I use today and robots. While helpful for society, will also uproot us to the core.
These are not simply changes. This time frame will be known as a Revolutionary time. Just like the industrial revolution.
