Not saying I agree with this point. But I feel when people are talking about being accessible and cheaper, they are more meaning they don't have to pay the artist. Like if I run a business and I make an ad. If I use AI, the cost is extremely way more cheaper than hiring an ad agency. So it is more of a thing saying they don't have to pay you to make them art.
Also one thing about the "AI is inevitable" part. It is, but it's use case is not for us. The real area AI will shine is in the workplace. Fire your concept artist, replace it with AI. Fire you're programmers, replace it with vibe coding. Writing things that normally would have to be done by a human, fire those people as well because of chatgbt. If you watch NVIDIA tech showcase a while back, the main thing they were showing with AI was AI workers. AI will replace humans in the effort to lower costs. Even if AI only gets you 80% of the way there and, you can still fire 80% of your workforce and have the ones left fix any issues.
