Tristan Harris is eloquently articulate on this subject. Check his TED talk and his DiaryOfaCEO videos. In essence we must all try and raise awareness of this existential threat and try to steer development to narrow AI rather than AGI. The general public needs clarity on this issue. It's gonna be a challenge.
